Ava Kitzi  

Ava Kitzi is a high school journalist and CrossFitter from Columbia, Missouri. In 2019, she became a Borlaug Scholar for her research into obesity in Kuwait through the World Food Prize Institute, and is the Copy Editor and will serve as the Editor-in-Chief in 2020-2021 for The Spearhead, the Battle High School (Columbia, MO) newspaper. Ava is a three-time CrossFit Games AGOQ Qualifier, placing 32nd in 2019, and competes in Olympic weightlifting placing 11th in her weight class at the 2019 USAW National Youth Championships.
